Measuring the scope 1,2 and 3 emissions of a company allows for the opportunities to reduce emissions to be identified. As a contract consultant, I was part of the data collection and research team for Nuun Hydration's B Corp Certification. The experience grew my interest in helping companies with this certification. As as result, I have completed B Corp Consultant trainings on the BIA and joined the B Local Colorado Board.
In 2019, Nuun Hydration worked with Climate Neutral on a path to being carbon neutral. Acting as the data collection manager, collaboration was cross-functionally with Nuun executives and partners to gather data, research solutions and ultimately submit the BEE. As a continuation of the climate neutral efforts, internal policies were written with the goal of carbon reduction within Nuun.
BMA Real Estate was interested in joining 1% for the Planet to contribute back to the community they work within. B the Progress evaluated the non-profit partners and interviewed the short list ensure a good fit. B the Progress has continued to support BMA with non-profit engagement and content creation.
